Charitable Disclosure Statement
Bourbon Charity is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions made directly to Bourbon Charity may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Bourbon Charity’s EIN is 83-3182487.
Bourbon Charity mobilizes the whiskey community to raise funds for charitable causes and nonprofit partners. Unless otherwise stated, no goods or services are provided in exchange for direct charitable contributions.
For sweepstakes, raffles, events, merchandise, memberships, or other fundraising campaigns where a donor, entrant, purchaser, or participant receives or may receive something of value, only the portion of the payment that exceeds the fair market value of any goods, services, entries, merchandise, benefits, or other items received, if any, may be tax-deductible. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contribution.
Bourbon Charity is registered to solicit charitable contributions where registration is required. Registration with any state agency does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by that state. Arizona Disclosure: Bourbon Charity is recognized as a charitable organization in Arizona. Arizona does not currently require most charitable organizations to register with the Arizona Secretary of State before soliciting charitable contributions, although limited exceptions may apply. Recognition or authorization to operate in Arizona is separate from certification by the Arizona Department of Revenue as a Qualifying Charitable Organization or Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organization for Arizona charitable tax credit purposes. Contributions to Bourbon Charity should not be treated as eligible for the Arizona charitable tax credit unless Bourbon Charity has been separately certified by the Arizona Department of Revenue and assigned the applicable QCO or QFCO code. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding the federal and state tax treatment of any contribution.
